Promoting research among the youth

Thirty-five independent schools participated in the 2nd Annual Student Research Fair conducted by the Education Institute of the Supreme Education Council under the patronage of H.E. Saad Bin Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud, the Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the SEC.

The two-day fair for preparatory and secondary independent schools witnessed a remarkable increase in the number of researches being exhibited as compared to 2009. At least 250 Qatari students showed off their skills while showcasing over 90 innovative researches ranging from “the effects of food coloring,” “psychological impact of breast cancer on patients” to “choosing the most efficient search engine to facilitate functions” and “graffiti.”
