1. What are the responsibilities of the Supreme Education Council?

   The Supreme Education Council determines education policy in Qatar. It monitors the progress of education reform efforts and oversees the Education and Evaluation Institutes, approving the Institutes’ budgets and appointing the directors of each. The Supreme Education Council also approves the contracts for the Independent Schools.
