Secondary school certificate issuance continues

The Evaluation Institute of the Supreme Education Council has announced that certificates for the second round of the Qatar Secondary School Certificate (QSSC) exams and additional copies required for the first round can be collected from the QSSC Unit of the Evaluation Institute (E ring road) during working hours from 8am to 1pm.

The SEC's Evaluation Institute published the results of the second round of the Secondary School Certificate examinations for the Independent and Semi-Independent schools for the year 2009/2010 on Monday 3rd August after being approved and authorized by His Excellency, Saad Bin Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud, Minister of Education and Higher Education, SEC Secretary General.

Opportunity available to join military colleges

An official source at the Evaluation Institute assured students sitting for the second round of the Secondary School Certificate examination for independent and semi- independent schools that the opportunity is still available for them to join military colleges. The officials said that the EVI has sent letters to all military colleges in Qatar requesting an extension of the acceptance period until 20 / 8 / 2010 thus enabling them to apply after the announcement of their results.
