HE Saad bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, the Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of Supreme Education Council (SEC) has returned to Doha after heading a delegation on a three-day official visit to Singapore to analyze the Singaporean education system.

The delegation visited a number of educational institutions where they met with the officials, held fruitful meetings, and exchanged ideas and opinions. The two sides discussed educational recommendations and ways of investing and implementation.

HE the Minister met the Singapore Minister of Education Mr. N.G. Hen and discussed mutual educational relations that can be enhanced. The Singapore Minister of Education presented a history of the educational process in Singapore and the challenges the country has faced since independence, including the development of the human resources and manpower.

The delegation also visited a group of universities and educational institutes and centers. The first stop was the Singapore Ministry of Education where the Qatari delegation was briefed about the educational system, the challenges, and the continuous development. Also in the agenda was a visit to the most famous universities Nan Young Technology, the Professional Development Institute, and the Technical Training Institute. The Singapore Evaluation and Examinations Council and the Teachers' training Center were two of the delegation’s attractions where the Qatari officials were briefed about the operations and the achievements.
