HH Sheikha Mozah visits US schools

LOS ANGELES: HH Sheikha Mozah Nasser al-Misnad, vice chairperson of the Supreme Education Council (SEC), has visited Harvard Westlake College Preparatory School and an independent primary school in Los Angeles.

Sheikha Mozah was briefed by school officials about their newly-developed patterns of education and the educational systems they apply for school, pre-school and kindergarten levels.

Earlier, Qatar University president and SEC board member HE Sheikha bint Abdullah Al-Misnad and SEC director Sabah al-Haidous, who are accompanying Sheikha Mozah on her visit to the US, visited two independent college preparatory schools to learn about their educational methods. - QNA
