The Scholarship Office of the Higher Education Institute is conducting a comprehensive study aimed at developing all issues related to scholarships. Once complete, the study will be sent to the Office of His Highness The Emir and other concerned institutions for review.

“The study currently underway allows for a high degree of accuracy and transparency,” said Hessa Al Aali, the director of the Scholarship Office. “The number of scholarship students is still unspecified to date, but the Scholarship Office has a comprehensive database in addition to the SEC website which gives details of the scholarship programs and their requirements.”

She also pointed out that most scholarship students have now completed their applications and will join their respective universities shortly.

The HEI offers students scholarships to study in the best colleges and universities in world. About 385 students received scholarships from the HEI in the academic year 2007-08. The number currently enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate study has reached to 1008. view Scholarship Statistics & Charts
