Open house for Qatari secondary school students

The Higher Education Institute of the Supreme Education Council launched its two-day Open House for Qatari secondary school students in grades 10, 11 and 12 in all the Independent, Ministry of Education, private Arabic and International schools at the Al Dasha Hall, Sharq Village and Spa.

The annual Open House brings together Qatari secondary school students and their parents with officials from the HEI and experts to review and exchange opinions, ideas, points of views, and consultations in the areas of advising services and receive responses to questions raised by the all stakeholders about the scholarships program

Services at the Open House have been classified into ten specialized categories - according to the type of major, the country of scholarship and the type of scholarship program. Each category or service is equipped with well-trained experts to brief the students and their parents with most important details about each scholarship program.

Other office directors at the HEI, experts, advisors, students, parents, and media representatives will also attend the meeting. The event program starts from 9:30a.m to 1:30 pm and again from 5:30p.m to 8:30p.m on both days. A periodical brochure - “Al Masar” - providing information about the services offered by the Advising and Career Development Centre will also be distributed at the event.
