Principals And Operators

Strong leadership at the new Independent Schools will be essential, so the role of principals and operators is crucial. It is their guidance that will direct the philosophy, curriculum and teaching methods of the school. The Education Institute will assist and support Independent School leaders with this important mission, as well as provide information and support to those interested in starting a school.

In particular, leadership development programs are available from the Education Institute’s Professional Development Office. Potential Independent School leaders can participate in a part-time training program. Current school operators and principals can receive on-going training and support from both the Institute and the School Support Organizations (SSO) assigned to each Independent School.
