"Alternatives for Educational Success"

To successfully operate a school, much more is required than desks and pencils. There must be strong leadership and solid educational standards in place, in addition to sound financial management. The Education Institute is responsible for ensuring that all these things come together at the Independent Schools.

Operating under the Supreme Education Council, the Education Institute oversees and provides support services to the new schools in three essential areas. First, the Institute develops curriculum standards in key subject areas to facilitate a high level of learning. Second, the Institute provides professional development opportunities so teachers and principals can stay current on the latest teaching and management techniques. Third, the Institute ensures that the schools are fiscally accountable by monitoring their financial managment through periodic reports and audits

Education Institute issues policies and guidelines for additional educational support

Committed to providing a comprehensive and inclusive education that meets the needs of all students and provides them with the highest quality of learning experiences, the Education Institute of the Supreme Education Council has issued a set of policies and guidance documents for schools in order for them to meet their responsibilities for students with Additional Educational Support Needs (AESN). The term AESN includes students with Learning Problems (SWLP), students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SWSLD) and students with Disabilities (SWD) and students with behavioral problems (SWBP)
